LHC-165
LHC-165 is an agonist (activator) of Toll-like Receptor 7 (TLR7), and an immuno-oncology modulator. TLR7 is a protein in the immune system that surveys and recognizes pathological malignance, and triggers the immune response by releasing infection-clearing cytokines if activated. It has demonstrated in mice that LHC-165 induced immune response, and reduced tumor growth, also showed signs of an abscopal effect. It is currently under evaluation in patients with advanced malignancies, either as a single agent or in combination with checkpoint inhibitor.
